There was a moment when the ball came over his head and he missed it as it was inches too far ahead, he stayed on his feet and recovered, but people around me still having a go. He’s the target at present.

What is apparent to me is the difference in “feel”. We have, imo, one of the best centre halves in the division injured, and he hasn’t been missed. We had none of our best player yesterday, and we didn’t notice. Team played with the same intensity and vigour. And fully deserved the win. It’s miles from where we were last season. Literally watching a different team

 

Would be a sensational window, going off Reggie’s comments yesterday I think ba will be away just don’t see how he gets in, hopefully a loan as there’s definitely a player there, think AA still has a part to play long old season

 

Nearly got an assist within the first 5 mins, Rigg should have hit the target tbf.

 

Good time to be signing players in our position

 

From what we’ve seen I really think we are only 3 or 4 players away from having a team ready to challenge for promotion!

Some cover for the two full backs plus the rumoured strikers and we are looking good. If we consider Ekwah to be Jobe’s back up and Rigg and Browne for the other side then I think we could do with a back up for Neil as a sitter still. Keep AA as an option from the bench if we are chasing a game and need to play with a 10.

That’s it, I’m still of feeling I’d like to see us get another centre half in to challenge him in the long term but I’m also a realist and changing the back line now would be insanity, three games and a clean sheet in every single one.

Ballard is going to struggle to get in, Aji and Luke have been superb.

 

Dont forget Huggins still to come back into the new year
