There are few better away ends than Selhurst Park when the fans collapse over the advertising hoarding. Bonus points to West Ham nearly killing a ballboy.
Love the away end at Palace. Like stepping back in time. Surprised that health and safety bods not closed it down given how strict that **** is these days tbh.
Cherish them while we can. Palace, Luton, QPR (probably), Pompey, Leeds, Sheff U. It’ll be a sad day when we’re all playing in out of town retail parks.
It was a big day for the city with all the ex-United fans pretending they were one of the 4000 watching at an athletics stadium 20 years ago.
Watching MOTD ... tell you what, if Maddison stays fit, Spurs will be in for a very good season ... OK it was against this season's whipping boys yesterday... but there was a lovely fluidity and purpose in Spurs' football ... could be a good contest between the North London teams Citeh and Pool... United have to improve markedly... but both Brighton and Villa looking very good too ...
Just looking at todays tv coverage, Bournemouth v Newcastle, who the fook wants to watch that shhite!
Should be a decent game. Liverpool v Isleworth Bees is a terrible 4:30 pick. I assume the Arsenal game had to be yesterday because of midweek games.
They'll go Spursy. But apart from that, your misplaced apostrophe is bothering me. The possessive on a name ending in s should go after the s. i.e Spurs' I know you're a stickler for detail so please don't let me catch you making this mistake again.
A rare slip Ponks and now corrected as I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi myself ... but the point stands - if Maddison stays fit - they've a better squad than the ones he played in when we finished fifth, and they are way more fluid now than in the days of slo-mo Harry - and they look much better defensively and in terms of overall squad depth
... also think it will be a terrific season at the Top end with so many good teams now - not us ... but I also think West Ham have bought incredibly well ...
I've said on our board that if a few stars align, I fancy Brighton gatecrashing top four this season, they're probably targetting top six/ seven as it is but think they could go a bit further if things go right. Already made some smart signings, their new manager will no doubt be some genius and follow in Potter and De Zerbi's footsteps, only playing once a week again and Mitoma's back fit who for me is one of the top tier ballers in the league.
