Too many yellow cards, most unnecessary.

Don’t understand what Gibbs brings to the team. Are we likely to bring in another striker or is the new lad Crnac expected to be a makeshift striker?

Gibbs is a versatile player on both sides of the ball, but not exactly what you'd call an impact sub. Crnac is a striker who can also play out wide, much like Idah. He had a few good touches, but it's expecting a lot when he's just signed.

We were so slow in progressing the ball out of defence, just like last season. Sainz had probably his worst game, at least that I have seen. There seemed to be no energy or urgency, and the quality of our passing.

After 3 games we are in the lofty position of 20th in the Championship. New(ish) team or not, I can see fans being uneasy about our progress. Come back Tettey your sins are forgiven! Quiz question: when were we last awarded a penalty?

Not brilliant, but I reckon that might look a good point before long. Blades are tipped for promotion.

Quite right - he wasn’t; my post was done in a sense of disappointment. I see Olly Skipp went for £20m.

I don't think Tetty would have turned his back on their goal scoring shot the way Núñez did. Sargent finished his shot for our goal very well and it was an excellent assist from Forson. Other than those two and Doyle (who was excellent), our player ratings were pretty average. Gunn did well to keep us in the game though with some great saves.

Our recent head to head record against the Blades, including today, is W1, D3, L5, the sole win being the now legendary "late arrival" match at Bramall Lane in Farke's first season, following which the miffed Wilder accused us of bad sportsmanship. Rob suggests the point gained today might look a good point before too long; IMO it's a good point full stop. And for CitySlicker's information, Crnac is not "expected to be a makeshift striker", he is a striker, a versatile one.

Interesting to see the complaints around Sainz (especially on twitter), it was pointed out before a ball was kicked that he was much more a Wagner player than Thorup. Schwartau may start with the U21s, but we've not spent £2m+ on a player without expecting him to impact the first team this season. Going to be interesting to see if he starts to take minutes from Sainz.

It felt to me during the game (and those scores reflect it) and in other matches recently that our weakness is out wide. I’m at a bit of a loss to know how to help the fullbacks defensively. I thought Chrisene looked very vulnerable and interesting to see WhoScored ranked Stacey even lower.

Duffey, defensively, was very good, but as you say he gives heart attacks in offense, though he was so nearly a hero on one occasion.

Head and shoulders above Kieffer Moore. Moore barely got a sniff all game thanks to SD.
