Just back from the match and I must say, I have never been that impressed with a team performance for years. We were excellent with and without the ball. With the ball we played through them with ease and could have been out of sight at half time. Without the ball we pressed high and as a team, no one was isolated during the press. In our third we kept two banks of four, forcing them wide, then Cirkin, Hume, Mundle and Roberts just picked them off.

Le Bris has us well drilled and made the right subs at the right time, he must be the find of the decade as a manager.

Hard to pick a MotM, Jobe and Rigg were both excellent but Roberts and Mundle were something else, I would probably give it to Mundle for his goal.

I thought it was Rigg who got the first yellow, I could believe it when Neil got the red. Happened just in front of me and I was screaming at the ref that it was his first <doh>

The Burnley computer says 'No' <laugh>

"What the hell is happening with our club? That line up wouldn't have beaten Hartlepool never mind any team in the Championship. Its been a long time since ive seen such a disjointed and inept performance like that from a Burnley side! Selling players like they are going out of fashion and replacing them with utter crap."

TBH he must've f*cking slept through most of last season <doh>

When he got his first yc for kicking the ball away, If you can call it that. Still silly for doing it. I thought to myself, needless yc and it could haunt him

I think the upturn in form of Roberts shows that many fans are too quick to write players off. People have already written ekwah off after a few bad months last season. We have a lot of talent in the squad and ekwah can go again. Telling that ba and anouche weren't even on bench. Regi is obviously not ****in about

He wasn't even that bad tbh, the season is best forgotten and a clean slate given to everyone at the club.

Definitely and he's shown enough to suggest he could be a very good player. We will need him and many of the others sat on bench today.

They had two keepers on the bench because there were players ‘not being part of the future’. So got relegated from the prem but too good for the league below. Club want cash

Ex safc commentator Simon Crabtree asking the questions, fairly sure as a pne fan he referred to Burnley as ‘the dingles’ openly

Look. Roberts was absolute dog **** last year. I’m in the group who were wrong. Whether it’s the manager, attitude, organisation, not sure but he’s 90% better

Cirkin is elite level. I dont say this lightly but he could well be top 4 prem. He needs to prove his fitness to make it.

The way he passes the ball is the big indicator. Absolutely rips it into teammates which is how it should be. On top of that he is brilliant 1v1 defensively, strong and brave and he links with his wide man perfectly. I think he honestly could play international football in 1 or 2 years time. So much going for him as a player.
