Well done Jager, good for you. I bowed out of this forum a few weeks back and only pop in now and again (haven't posted since until now) just to see what garbage is being spouted by the usual suspects. Nothing has changed and I haven't missed it a bit. Same old arguments, same old vitriol, same old dickheads - you know who you are. My son (23) had a mini stroke a few weeks back and it kind of made me think about the hours I've wasted arguing the toss with the usual knob jockeys on here. I know it's all about opinions, but let's face it, there are some real muppets on here. So I've had enough. Never have visited the General Chat and I never will following your comments but I found some of my fellow Jacks' company really bad for my health and I'm sure the feeling's mutual. Hit The Road- As i have always said, there is no right or wrong here just a mix of conjecture,opinion and strong views, i personally have missed your views and posts here, falling out is part and parcel of these types of forums we have different views on things. However over the course of the old 606 and this one there have been as many issues that i have agreed with you about as ther have been that i havent, overall i think we had a bitter sweet relationship !! May i take this oppourtunity to wish your son a speedy recovery,he is young and im sure if he is as strong willed as his dad then he is going to be 100% well soon enough.Its your right to decide not to contribute regular but i miss you forthright views and do regret some of the comments that i made that might have offended you, i apologise for that. Jager was upset about the stuff on the GC and the way it was handled by the Mods,and rightly so IMO,i think we were all shocked by some of the vile stuff on there,it was not good reading at all, i hope Jager has a change of heart and returns to 606 even if its just the odd post or two i also hope you will start to contribute more too HTR, as i said i respect you 100% as a poster and think you bring good things to the board,petty arguments happen from time to time in any walk of life i hope you will recosider and come out of retirement. Jager - I would also be glad to join you on your new site - haven't been to GC and don't think I will as I don't want to give those sick morons the oxygen to fuel their vile little fires! Some people feel that the only way to add credence to their pathetic little lives is to make sick jokes about the misfortune of others, but when it comes to joking about tragedy - that is a line that should never be crossed! These people have no friends, so they post their bile to get a reaction in the mistaken view that their opinions actually matter - they don't! They are miserable little trolls who spend their days wondering why everybody hates them, and haven't got the brain power to realise that everyone hates them because they are miserable little trolls! Karma will win out in the end mate - they will die sad, bitter and unloved - and to their grave they will never understand why they were so despised! Freedom of speech is a noble human right - but unfortunately it also extends to those morons who choose to abuse it - don't let them win mate - they will see your absence from this site as some sort of twisted victory - don't give them that satisfaction - stay and continue to show them up as the sad and pathetic losers that they are! We've never seen eye to eye but I'm sincerely sorry to hear about your son Aussie, back in the 70s my mates daughter aged 16 at the time had a major stroke she went on to fully recover, she has never had another since, hopefully it will be the same for your son.
whilst i understand the concerns raised by comments made by morons on the GC what has that got to do with ppl here? i think i have posted there once ages ago, havnt read what has been said, will not bother to read what has been said. sticking to a few club boards i play various comps with and thats it.
Well Mick has put all the idiots in a locked room, hope he throws away the key, to see such vulgar disrespect to someone recently deceased, and in such circumstances, just goes to show that some have gone beyond all moral sense, I must admit I was very disappointed in this happening on this forum, and like Jager it did make me too reconsider things on here, but at the end of the day, why allow the idiots to win, I think we can all shape this forum to be what it should be, and I hope that those who enjoy football debate will continue to support those of us, that want to make the difference, yes we'll have our differences, but I've always been of the view that, everything should be light hearted, and sometimes when things get heated, should be taken with a pinch of salt. My old man, used to say regarding these issues, watch what a tree does in a storm, it bends and gives, if it didn't it would be quickly uprooted, he would then conclude by saying for your own sanity, be like a tree and give a little the storm will pass, without any damage!
