    Absolutely class.

First 20 mins , it doesn't get better. Unreal performance throughout.

Still a quality 9 in this team and we are serious. I actually think an upgrade on Hume would be possible too.

Lost my voice after that !

From the poolside stream I thought Cirkin was immense today. Would love to know what has went on with Roberts as he looks a totally different player to last seasons version.

Is it as simple as he now has a midfielder to play with in the attacking 3rd.

Fans of every team we’ve beaten have refused to complement us and have just said they were poor and Sunderland okay.

when does it stop being a coincidence?

either way I’m happy for teams to keep underestimating us.

Strange end to the game, but we deserved to be at least 2 up from the first half display. Bring on Portsmouth.

A great win. We played some superb football and deserved to be more than 1 goal ahead. Stupid tackle by Neil but fair play ti the Tena they dug in and defended fantastically well.

Great for Mundle but as others have said Robert’s was superb and took on a lot of the ball carrying that Clarke normally does. Alese was brilliant at centre half as well.

Huge credit to RLB he has this team playing really well and they are clearly well coached. He also made the right changes during the match. It’s still very early but his impact is already very positive. We look like a different team to last season.

brilliant first 25 mins and then just completely organised. Snuffed out any attack. High intensity pressing.

burnley never looked like scoring apart from one counter attack

Well done lads ! If a) Burnley are favourites and best and b) we can play like that every game , we should be aiming for 110 points.
Burnley , supposedly leagues best , looked as if they were resigned to losing to a superior team and performance until 5 minutes left when they thought they had a chance and could look good v 10 men.
Chuffed to bits for the lads , but again they give us supporters a problem . How do they expect us to be able to pick MOM - ( prob Robert’s shades it today)

    cheers again RTB...

happy with that, been trying to think of a word for the way the team play currently and i think the most apt one is 'unit', can see them working up and back down constantly, everyone is where they should be and all take a 'rest' at the same time while keeping the shape solid.

mundle, could not ask for a better game to get his feet wet, really active, running, crossing, chasing down and capped with a very fine goal, a few chances went begging among the team but i can't remember patto having anything serious to deal with (stream was bad and lost picture for about 15 mins 2nd half)...rigg with another good game (1st half especially) should have had a couple of goals in the league so far but for bad luck, roberts is improving each game.

thought ref was doing ok as well as his linesman, then came that full on body check by foster on roberts, should have been a 2nd yellow but ref chose to ignore that and just give a free kick, not long after neil made a late but not nasty tackle and ref gave him his 2nd yellow, a little later it looked like the ref was going to give one of the burnley lads a card for dissent then realised he had booked him for the same thing 1st half...no complaints with neils 2nd i guess but at least be fair when they do worse.

MotM has to be mundle, came in with a lot to live up to and had us asking 'clarke who??'
