After a decent display against Blackburn which could very well have ended in a win, Norwich play Sheffield United in the second home game. At the time of writing there is another week left in the transfer window, will any further Norwich players get the strop and want to leave, will we get any new ones in? Who will be in our first 11 at the weekend? If fit I would expect several of the players pick themselves- Sargent, Sainz, McLean, Gunn to name a few, but will there be any surprises announced and will the yoof get a chance? Sheffield appear to have as many players in and out as we have and it looks like they have tried to renew their squad a bit with some younger faces, they are also in the process of a takeover. Interestingly all the tables have them with 2 points even though they won on the first day of the season, because they defaulted to pay other clubs money in the past so were docked 2 points this year. Current form: Norwich: LD Sheff Utd: WD
Well Kamara won't be on the bench so Crnac could be. Edit :- Crnac should be match fit, he has played in five games so far this new Polish season.
Well, at least we'll get our first look at Crnac and what might be our preferred starting lineup if things go well, though Doyle will probably move to LB and Córdoba to CB.
I would think that is likely Rick, maybe even during the game. Did not think Crnac would start this match though, really throwing him in the deep end.
Desperately thin bench, I know we're missing Barnes, Fassnacht and Sorensen, and Kamara presumably in the doghouse, but not a lot of options. Not too surprised Crnac started given JHT seemed worried by the Blades' aerial threat.
Kieffer Moore causing us all sorts of trouble early, once again We look so vulnerable to crosses and freekicks Some nervy passes but as ever when it works we look fluid. Forson has gone down too easily a couple of times and the ref is being quite sensible
Really poor defending there, we are really struggling at left back and then no-one closes down a cross that ricochets out to the edge of the box
