Fantastic football until Sam gave them a goal. Madsen looks like he has been playing in our midfield for years. Not one missed pass and 99% of those passes going forward. Dembele is absolute class. Only complaint is that we are letting them have too much ball, even more so after the red. Marti will fix this during the break!
Started so well and got 5he deserved goal from excellent Frey header. Then after opening 15 mins we started to drop off and allowed them to settle into the game. Sure enough Whittacker scores a worldy after awful 1st touch from Field. Straight away Forshaw sent off for 2nd yellow and we haven't dominated since like we should be. Field and Madsen been very poor in midfield and Saito looks ****ing awful today. Smyth with no end product as usual and had to score in 1st minute. Frey been excellent and constantly going berserk at team mates for not pressing high like him. Dembele is simply awesome, way too good for this league ! His delivery from set pieces is superb. We have to get control in midfield 2nd half and get about them ffs. There are goals there for us but be awake at the back or we'll get caught on the break. We have to win this game from here ! Come on rrrr'ssss
Back to the sanctury of the air conditioned ship.... 32 degrees in the shade..... Sounds like HT came at the right time so can come up with a cunning plan for 2nd half... C'mon Rangers
They've had 58% possession and it's hardly changed since the red card. Get the ****ing ball off them.
Great start with many good goal opportunities which were unfortunately wasted. A Field lack of control error nicely set up a wonder goal which was well struck. Hopefully against 10 men in the 2nd half we can up the tempo and put them to the sword.
We've rather let them back into this game and despite them being down to 10 men they're still getting a lot of possession. It'll be interesting to see how Marti adjusts things for the 2nd half. Plymouth's pressing caused us problems in 1st half but can they keep it at that level for the full 90 mins?...
