I expected to see a fair few criticise him after that half but there's a lot to like about him.

He just looks like a South American who needs to get used to the tempo of the Championship.

DennisBooth’sTash wishes to thank the crowd for taking note of him saying he would have a hangover and requesting silence.

Thought we could have got a pen as well.

    Burstow unlucky.

Coyle again is the one with some impetus about him to create and drive the team on.

I thought Zambrano was fine, showed the quality of his touch, but wasn't looked for enough.

Zambrano shown a few Seri like touches but seems a bit off the pace currently.

Burstow getting into positions but we're not finding him with any quality.

Omur not having the influence he seemed to have at the tail end of last season.

Millar and Giles showing that they could develop a good partnership but aren't really creating a lot.

There's no point us getting corners at the moment. Might as well just give the oppos a goal kick.

Our constant high crosses are bread and butter for millwalls big championship defenders to clear

    Too one dimensional

We take so much time in the buildup
Then jus cross it over and over

Also, McLoughlin and Giles guilty of slowing it down every time they get the ball. Only Coyle is daring to drive forward from the back. I say we get Hughes on and see what difference he can make. Also it’d be nice to see if Bedia can offer a much needed presence. We are being outmuscled in most challenges.

The number of short corners is maddening. Did I imagine it or did I see somewhere that Walter doesn't really believe in corners? Ridiculous.

Poor stuff that. Mehlem and Slater not doing enough and Zambrano never offers the back 4 an 'out' ball, not sure he's been briefed properly. Pandur and poor Millwall finishing is all that's kept us in it.

A pretty tepid first half, Zambrano takes up a lot of good position in space, but so far have not got the ball to him. Millar is being watched carefully, but him and Giles do work well when they get space, hopefully as the game goes on space will open up. Def penalty under current rules, though for me not deliberate.

45 minutes that supported my feeling that it won't be long before Burns, Hughes and Drameh are all starting. There's no ambition to play through the gaps, it's all sideways then back again. There have also been multiple opportunities to hit a diagonal to a wide player in acres of space, but our defenders are not brave or confident enough. When they do play forward it's after having a little think about it so that the receiving player has no room to turn and ends up playing it back again. However many good CM and attacking players we sign, it won't do any good unless we sort out the distribution from defence.

To be fair, we would maybe benefit from playing through the middle a bit more instead of constant wing play.

This is where Acun starts to get a bit over-excited. We bring in players off the back of Racioppi making one gaffe in a League Cup game when the wages could be better spent elsewhere.

Yes maybe but I think Zambrano needs to be a little more demanding of the ball, needs to let people know he's there.

I agree, Zambrano is getting into a lot of space in midfield, but every thing is going down the wings, they need to get him more involved.
