I mean, I think we can all agree that Spanish is a bit of a tit but it will come crashing down for him at some point. However, quite alot of the Ipswich lot are OK. The way they played last season was a pleasure to watch. They were brave, they stuck to the plan and yeah, they had to ride their luck a bit at times but putting our disappointment to one side, I wanted them to go up if we didn't. Ipswich have recruited well as far as I can see. They won't break any records at the bottom. I also think they have the best chance out of the three promoted clubs of staying up. If they stay up, they will have to spend big money to consolidate, probably with a new manager and if it goes wrong then they could easily end up in financial trouble.
He’s a tit on his own board too, @Johnnywarkstache put a nice post on the Liverpool forum along the lines of the gulf in class was evident. Spanish was calling him a traitor and asked if he could be banned. There is one possibly two others on the same level as Spanish the rest are okay, they’ll all enjoy some adult debate and a bit of banter. It’s just the Spanish guy who seems obsessed with us.

I think @Bigal2 set you up for this one Omari was a championship player last season, he wasn’t an unearthed gem. Canister was offered to virtually every lower half prem team by his agent. Johnson was a freebie again hardly a scouting miracle. KP you didn’t buy him, is he an unearthed gem, do your scouts deserve praise for that one. Leaf Davies is going to be exposed time and time again, Jack Clarke is brilliant at championship level but that's his level. Fair play for assembling a great championship squad for next season if you can hold onto them
