Im of the view that sometimes teams get so one dimensional when everything goes through one key player . At times that was us with clarke , we became lazy and predictable . As long as we invest well the timing could be spot on for us.

Might be appearances. Ron Thorben Hoffman made 23 appearances, just 2 shy of the deal being made permanent. Stopped at the right time. Joe Anderson was 1 appearance shy of 25 for Shrewsbury and went from instant first choice starter to not making the bench overnight. Probably because a deal was written into the contract.
