Yeah must admit that thought crossed my mind about one of the best food vans being there. One of the only independent ones too I believe.
Yep it is the one that is run by the 2-3 ladies. Edit: which reminds me of when Mrs No7 saw my bank statement and saw £6.50 paid to ‘hot stuff Ltd’ I had to point out it was a burger and chips and did she really think I would get much else for £6.50
Sounds more like a full stadium mosaic, followed by the crowd surfer flag on the Northam end. (I think ‘Pride of the South’ was the selected moniker in the end)
Was this the flag they were going to supposedly poll fans on? I don't recall being asked. Whatever happened to the Markus flag too? Don't recall seeing it since EFL cup final.
We took a trip down there on Sunday, just to check how things look now. And the way the new fencing is up, you might very well be prevented from being able to get to the Kinsgland (or the Chapel in my case) from Melbourne Street, depending on which gates are open and which are closed. You might even find yourself directed out of Melbourne Street altogether, and onto Marine Parade. (We don't use your red route for getting from car to ground. But the aforementioned burger van is so good, that we go out of way to walk the entire way past stadium and then down Melbourne Street in order to get to it. So I'm very interested to find out if they'll be moving somewhere else.)
Do all such food outlets require a licence to operate? If so, I'd expect the location of the van to be specified in the licence, so it might not be a simple change to move location. I could be talking out of my rear orifice, as per usual.
It's a compliment in a way that she'd think a brass would only charge you £6.50, you handsome devil... #stillgotit
Route forest fans have been advised to take to the ground. Can't see many sticking to that. Surely for high risk matches this won't be the escort route after game? Around the parks and along the high street? Disaster waiting to happen imo.
