My stance remains the same that if someone reaches our valuation of Clarke then we should sell and he would leave with my best wishes, Ipswich will triple his wage and if he performs he'd be in the PL with or without Ipswich in 25/26 like Odobert for example. If we can walk away with £17m (plus a nice sell on percentage) after Spurs take their cut that is a huge sum for a Championship side and i'd be pretty excited to see what we would do with it.

should also be adding a late in the window tax onto the fee, longer this takes up to the window closing the less opportunity we have to re-invest
Yep from the bits I've heard that's the aimed for amount. As it stands the club are still running at an operating loss and as we all know have agreed a few new contracts.
My fear with Clarke is he goes on strike / hands in transfer request to force move. I know everyone says he’s happy here and he clearly is. But this is modern football.
