Has anyone thought about what does he want, maybe he likes it here so much that he doesn't want to go anywhere. Loads of players have grown up as fans of other teams but years at a team can make you change you allegiance. EG. Ball, Onien and Phillips to an extent

Just on Chelsea, their strategy makes sense when you understand they are used to American sports. They are used to having draft picks and only getting one or two good young talents as they don't have a transfer market the same way football does.

They see all the young players they buy as round 1 draft picks and are essentially just stocking up all the young talent they can. People who know football obviously know this is a terrible strategy but it makes sense that they'd act that way if you look at it like an american sport

I really hope that's true, they've got a lot of solid strikers who are capable of double figures, if Bennette shows a positive mentality and starts 30 games, I'm quite confident he'll come away with a lot of goals and assists.

That's exactly the sort of loan he needs. If we could get similar for Hemir and Hjelde I wouldn't bet against all three eventually proving to be good signings for SAFC.

Agree, that should be a great move for the lad they play some nice football and should be aiming for top 6 you’d imagine

Probably help that Ruben Selles speaks Spanish as well, and is a very good coach.

Excellent move from the club imo ...

... absolutely loaded with talent, he's a gem we should treasure, polish and find the right setting for.

Same goes for Hemir imo, he'll be a real player imo.

Agreed. I thought sending him off to Greece when he's still learning English was a bonkers move last season.
A L1 loan is ideal for him

If this is true, this is a really good move for Jewi.So much better than going off to Greece. I do have confidence we try to look after these players if we can. He's a talented lad, could easily come back to us and be first team ready in the future.

Looks like a perfect move. They look attack minded and scoring a few goals be ideal for his confidence.

The lad clearly has a bit about him far prefer this to selling him at this stage.

    Its Friday soon.
Imagine we announce these 2 new forwards have signed and we've tied Clarke dow to a new 4 year contract.
Would be a massive boost ahead of a huge game on Saturday.

When it comes to other lads, I'd like to see us loan Johnson to league 2 or Scotland, Ba could do with a loan to anywhere really, somewhere competitive where he plays will do. Hemir would be the hardest to find a club for.

It was his agent (and to an extent him) that pushed for that deal IIRC.
