Don’t quote me on this but I’m thinking maybe with the Mendy news aswell as him that it could be that Isidor on the left and Mendy/Mayenda upfront with Ian Harte and other rumours about Clarke Leaving?
To be fair even if there are flights out of Russia you wouldn’t catch me flying through Russian held air space. They have history
We don’t know the arrangements but it looks like there will be a financial transaction with a Russian company. I’m not 100% comfortable with that but it’s not the same as buying weapons from the state or giving money to Putin.
Double like. Didn't spot the wording. Made me giggle Would be very disappointed if Ian Harte was the third striker
Obligated to sign him ? So wasn't ideal in the end for them ? Hopefully good news for us. Looks like a lively Ross Stewart on that video earlier in the thread. Isidor broke through at Monaco before heading out on loan. He joined Lokomotiv Moscow in 2022 before linking up with Zenit on loan last season. Zenit were obligated to make that deal permanent this summer but Sunderland then learnt of Isidor's availability and made their move. The striker's imminent switch was confirmed on Tuesday by Zenit chairman Alexander Medvedev, who said: "Wilson Isidore is on his way to Sunderland, England." Phil smith in the article has confirmed it’s true. He’s coming over tomorrow and in advanced talks to sign also was wanted by RLB at Lorient in Jan 2023 and nearly signed for Lyon too
An absolutely mental view. A vile and misguided view. A trolling thickie view. I can't wait until this transfer window is over.
Two views I've held on the Sheff Wed game that I need to get off my chest; Firstly, this idea that Sheff Wed were ****e doesn't sit right with me, we forced them into being a lot worse than they are, for me they'll finish in top half this season, I said it before the season and I'll maintain that. They showed early in the game that they had threats, so much of it was physical but they did also play some nice stuff at times, or attempted to at least, we were just brilliant in the middle and very clinical. Secondly is this view that this game was anything like Southampton at home last season. That game was the definition of giving away a game, they put all the goals bar the last on a plate for us. Their keeper and defence were horrific and as AltEnding said on YouTube, we played on the counter against Soton, where as we dominated Sheff Wed in the middle.
Does seem promising that RLB has wanted him twice now. First Lorient and now here. Also with him close to going to Lyon before. Seems to be quite tall and mobile from the clips. Could fit the profile we are after quite well
