Am I becoming a conspiracy theorist in my old age... just turned 61... The BBC News has just reported that the Sicily yatch disaster may have claimed the life of Mike Lynch on Monday at 5am. Lynch was recently cleared of multiple fraud charges in the US (concerning a $9 billion fraud case around the valuation of a company sold to HP, which lasted over 10 years of investigations, and had led to his imprisonment in the US), AND, his co-defendant Stephen Chamberlain was killed on Saturday, after being hit by a car in Cambridgeshire, while out running. A 49 year old woman is helping police with their inquiries, and are asking for witnesses.

Wasn't it sunk by a tornado (wind not plane) and though I like to read science fiction novels I don't believe anyone has yet cracked using one as a weapon in real life.
mkts called a Medicane - Mediterranean hurricane/tornado . There have been some mental storms here (Ionian islands) last couple of days stretching down to Sicily so either Mother Nature got him, or it’s been a canny excuse /timing to blow up his boat. The lightning and thunder out to sea yesterday was awesome to watch. Would have been **** scary to be in it!
A wierd coincidence but two separate events. However there were some seriously rich people on that boat which with hindsight should have been brought into port. A horrible tragedy but the blame game is just about to begin.
