A lot can change in window, but to think we have Browne and Ekwah as well as the 3 that started. A RB and a strong striker signing from really being up there, if they can get the consistency.

Having watched the match again it makes me wonder, seriously, how many goals O'Nien would score as a 10.

The spin off the defence, and the way he bent his run to stay onside, was sublime.

I'm not saying he should play up front, just wondering, but I don't think it would faze him one bit ...

... in fact I think he'd relish it.

There’s a comment on the thread which says “that turn at 0:47 does things to me no woman can”!! I have to back that up! Utterly ridiculous!! Superb

That was a thing of beauty mind.

Looking at that video we have some serious young talent in our midfield especially

He jokingly offered last season I believe and if it was him or Butstow I know who I would select. He'd be an absolute nightmare for defenders :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Thanks for the reply mate, very informative as usual.

Having watched the game through again I'm still not convinced he's a good 'manager' which isn't anything like coaching as you know.

He seemed to totally overplay his part yesterday and did lots of prowling, shouting and staring at his monitor ...

... he was aso manically moving the counters around, on his magnetic board, at 4-0 down.

I don't think he's playing to their strengths at all tbh, asking two big lumpy CH's to play out is asking for trouble. And his answer, when things went wrong, was to bring on 'the big lad' and welly the ball upfield. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on though, he may calm down and prove me wrong ... plenty have <laugh>

There's something at the back of my mind that's saying O'Nein was an attacking midfield player whilst at Wycombe, or at least had some licence to get forward. Seem to recall Ainsworth mentioned it.
I may however be completely wrong. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Have to say I
Thought the atmosphere was decent on Sunday. But Sky said we were silent. My parents watched on sky and said the same. Weird!

It was pretty quiet apart from the goals but that's par for the course these days.

Someone should send that to Mayenda, some very complimentary, well deserved, comments about his performance.

I often miss the off the ball stuff at the games, but I watched the full 90 a couple of times and Mayenda’s movement was top class. Looks a very promising prospect.
