Newcastle aren't very good on the road and Bournemouth are a better side than they get credit for, so what's everyone's thoughts ahead of this fixture? Two wins on the bounce would be great, but I just have this feeling there's somethings not right with this side. I don't want to be too negative but I'm sorry I don't think they'll win. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
Yeah I can't help but wonder if Liverpool is calling.. I bet he is back to himself after the window closes.
I'm not very confident, I predicted us to lose last season and we got thumped. I think it's going to be tight and not very entertaining as a game, I'll go 1-1. Hope we win of course but I feel like we're more likely to beat Tottenham in the game that follows and 7 points from 9 would be an awesome start.
IMO beating Bournemouth counts as achieving the next stage of our development. I doubt it'll happen this year, but I'm usually wrong on these things. Jacob Murphy with the winner ...
We're not too bad with absences at the moment given what we've been used to but Botman+Schar are probably our first choice centre back pairing and without even Lascelles as back-up it's really exposed in there - we simply need a RCB in urgently. Looking forward to having Tonali in the middle too, the idea of having fewer matches and hopefully fewer injuries so that we possibly get to see more of the first team actually playing together is something to look forward to.
