Mayenda was motm. He scored two, he's a striker, fully deserves it. If he gets 10-15 more of those we'll be fine and he'll be worth 30 mil. Over the moon with that.

They only had about 24mins of the game when Sky were chattting the normal 'guff' about Bannan. That quickly tapered off!!!!

There’s Wednesday fans on another forum I’m on saying the only reason they lost is because they play such good football and it comes with the territory, and that it doesn’t mean they were tactically outclassed. :D

    what nonsense

Never got the hype around him, peak Pritchard was a better player than peak Bannan. Our midfield didn't give him a sniff. He had to virtually play centre half to get any time on the ball today.

What impressed me the most is we forced them to totally change their style of play - they couldnt cope with our pressing so went direct but our energy meant we matched their runners from deeper

Even 4-0 up we were hunting in packs to win the ball back

A quality manager makes such a different and hopefully we have found a quality manager

Only 2 games gone tho, long way to go

I actually like Bannan as a player, but he struggles against players with energy and Rigg Jobe n Neil just over powered and out ran him (plus had more quality than him)

Not bad for a 17, 18 n 22 yr old CM - Browne should be starting on the bench next week imo

Got so many things to say about that. But it would take me hours to type it all. Tactically RLB dominated danny rohl.

Having to drop back to centre half to get the ball. He then tries to ping a long shot..... nothing on then just points and moans to his team mates <laugh>

Like their team they've allowed themselves to get totally carried away with it ...

... Rohl may be a good manager but they were down the bottom for a reason.

What a great satisfying result, I will admit I expected it to be a bit tighter and a tough game but RLB knocked it out the park tactically today.
Loads of candidates for MOTM but Mayenda deserves his plaudits
I think Jobe has had 2 excellent games and is showing a maturity beyond his years (it is easy to forget he is only 18) as is Rigg who is looking more and more comfortable in the 1st team.

I honestly believe it was a sort of shock, still expecting them to come back from 3-0 and crush our enthusiasm. Depending what happens against Burnley could make all the difference

Not a single bad performance amongst them, but it was Jobe for me. He was the primary reason why we didn’t have any dicey moments today. Good on the ball, carried it well but an absolute monster defensively all the way to the whistle. Wonderful performance.

It’s easy to get carried away with games like today but after that I’m even more confident that we’ve got all the options we need in centre mid and centre half already in the building. Just need a striker in to give Eliezer a break at the end of games:emoticon-0102-bigsm
