Cracking half from the Lads. Playing really well and dominating. These do look a threat when they go forward and got some big lads for the set pieces. Another one will finish them off.

The press. Phenomenal. The 4-4-2 block. Phenomenal.

    Chris Rigg. Phenomenal.

Take back what I said about Rigg, looks every bit ready. Best player on the pitch so far. Mayenda been decent constantly on the CB shoulder, Clarke class as per. O’nien showing where his true instincts lie :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Mayenda has been brilliant. Watch him when we press, he's the key to the whole thing.

Cirkin is having a blazing start to the season mind, if he can maintain that form he might be the best LB in the league. Riggler really living upto the hype, Paddy Roberts seemingly back to his best and Mayenda really looking much improved. Great start this.

Think Jobe has done well considering his position is different to last week. Against Cardiff he was the one joining Mayenda while Browne sat with Neil, this week it's Rigg high and Jobe deep.

    Versatile squad.

I dont really like going direct from Patterson as a rule. However, against a team who stand 3 up on the press it is the perfect tactic. 7 out of 10 times it is turning them round and that is something they dont like. I also think we have their full backs dropping deeper, which is really what I hoped we would do. Tactically very good from Regis.

Only his second (In the league) game, and it looks like we're not totally relying on Clarke.

The press is so well orchestrated. Only do it when they are all ready and in place. Nobody presses unless they do it as a group brilliant. Our fans will love this if they can maintain it against better teams.

Nice to see us utilising different options. Nowhere near as predictable as last season.

<laugh> And therein lies a significant issue imo. At 3-0 up at 30 minutes,we're as quiet as a mouse. As a crowd,we just don't seem able to enjoy a success....we're nervous that it's going too well and somehow we're going to concede, and then things will start to get anxious. We should be singing our songs and bringing the place down.
We do it when we're away!
