I know nothing about him. But if he can be a suitable, younger, replacement for Stu, then I would be very happy.

Feels like another Alcaraz type. Might be good in 3 years etc. Would rather we just put faith in Dibling and spend on a GK/STR.

Missing the transfer rumours tag on the thread, we know who to blame if this falls through

You guessed it, we blame Tom

I think Dibling is a bit more attacking than this guy. Don’t think they are similar types of midfielder. Did Dibling play as part of the midfield 3 at all during pre season? I thought he always played further forward ?

Sounds like Sporting Fans are gutted he’s leaving. Seen posts of future captain, and a beast of a player.
Think the coach wanted to keep experienced players and didn’t want to sell the likes of Edward’s etc, so had to sell Fernandez.

Dibling sometimes plays on the right of a midfield three, same position as Stuie last season.

Yeah lot of promising chat from them. Damn good academy there and seems he's the current jewel in the crown there.

Seems like this could be one of those signings where maybe we didn’t think it was an option but made an enquiry and the opportunity is considered too good to pass up. I’m sure there have been a few like this over the years. Going back to Schneiderlin I would argue (as that was a big investment in a young player at the time given how weak our squad was and how bad our finances were)

Seems really promising. And another solid example of not panicking just because the names of our targets aren’t all in the public domain. Feels like the club has got a bit better at keeping things under wraps than a few years ago

Hoping we have been working on a keeper on the quiet as well. Romano indicated the Bremen keeper was Man City’s choice if Ederson left, and now some other PL teams are looking at him. Given the way we play and City ask their keeper to play then maybe we are looking at him. Also the fact City would want him probably puts him out of our reach but you never know

Although the current panic now seems to be that he is being signed instead of O’Riley and there is no real comparison as one has very limited first team football experience and the other had a phenomenal season for goals and assists last season.

Two years ago at least it’s because we had Shields who leaked everything to Romano because he wanted to be cool or something

What probably puts him beyond us is that we are only likely to loan a goalkeeper rather than buy one due to still having Bazunu on the books. Unless we can swing something like what was rumoured with Bournemouth and Liverpool but with us and Man City. City sign him next year and we loan him this?

As much as I like both Smallbone and Aribo at times, neither has the pace that we really need in midfield. Our transitions often slow down when they get on the ball. From the clips of this guy, he might be exactly what we lack. Lighting quick acceleration and very direct.

Not sure about this. As someone else said, it feels very Charly 2.0. He has pretty much no experience at a decent level.
