A) What the ****'s it gotta do with you? B) Why aren't you whining at any of the other people who were also complaining about the feed they didn't pay the club for?
He doesn't think we're doing ok. He's clearly not happy that several players continue to look / play back far too often. He keeps quietly mentioning it. Provides him with as good reason for him to make the changes needed in coming weeks
Just listened to that interview with Mike White - I feel so much better! It’s like a breath of fresh air not hearing a manager being stubborn and pretending that we were good! Especially as he picked up on one of the most frustrating aspects of the game today - the ridiculous passing back from some of our players! I have much higher hopes now.
I have a feeling that in the next week or so, there will be remnants only of last seasons team.. Coyle, Giles, Jones (even then he might be fighting for a start),,
semantics question, that is sure to in no way cause people to fall out.....but, on twitter admin for city has called Coyle 'one of our own'.....but is he? He's from Hull yes but never set foot in our academy, went through Leeds and we had to buy him from Fleetwood.....thoughts??!! Opposite could be asked of Bowen, not from Hull but bought young enough that he came through our academy.....is he one of our own??
No idea what’s gone before, the hill back to the car from the stadium nearly killed me. Thoughts after the game, Pandur can’t pass the ball to save his life. McLoughlin can’t spot a pass in the forward direction. Jones needs a partner he can rely on. Giles isn’t interested. Oscar is a waste of shirt. Coyle and Millar show the desire needed to succeed. Anyone not mentioned was average, although Simons has potential.
Makes you wonder what he was told about the championship...or knew from the outset...Think we'll get it right a few games in and be a half decent side...famous last words..but not good enough for a top 6 push. Still early days.
In my opinion 2 key positions cost us getting 3 points in that today. Goalkeeper and Striker For Oscar. I don’t know what he offers. He can’t hold up the ball when we need him to when Plymouth had a good spell first half. He doesn’t seem to press very well. He can’t run in behind. I thought we looked a bit more dynamic with Burstow on but hard to say if that was him or late game tiredness. We need a striker that can offer a bit more than just being a poacher Pandur did ok in being a shot stopper but his decision making on the ball was suicidal at points. We’ve brought in Racioppi for a reason and I’d bet he starts after this week. Still unbeaten at least and picking up points. Need to get a lead in a game.
Just got it from the old town, despite what many think considering we had a near 60 million strike force last season and still didn’t make the playoffs then a 1.1 away draw for me isn’t bad, let’s hope we get some more team strengthening over the next week or too.
Remember when people thought we'd start the season well because teams wouldn't get to grips with our style? I suppose that relied on our players having got to grips with it.
