You seem to be gloating about your own team not winning

    Decent point.
I've no idea how we play - out from the back, then...
Sometimes it's like watching ping pong balls in a tumble drier.
    Watchable though.

Obviously this important point will be missed. We can't stop conceding first. We haven't looked like winning in any game since Walter came in. I don't want him out but, he needs to figure out how to stop conceding first. It's bollocks

The poll says everything. Nobody thought we'd draw therefore it can't be good. It just can't be

Hopefully we can do that - they seem to be shipping goals for fun - so no doubt it will be 0-0 next week. And you just know TWS are going to get their first win against us :steam:. IF we can get to the International break with 5 points on the board and the players we need (at least 1 experienced Striker, Right Winger and maybe another in midfield) I'd say that was a decent start.

If I was him wanting to go back to South America the first thing I’d do is make myself look useless. As a striker, the simplest way is to be constantly called offside. Easy. Just sayin’.

Missed about15 mins off the first half, but, I thought it was an encouraging and promising display by the Tigers. It was also an entertaining game for both sets of supporters and City were definitely going for it. Coyle was outstanding and put in a Captains performance. Even thought it looks like Macca is going to be replaced by Hughes thought he played well and seems to fit into Walters system. Like others dont understand why Seri did not get some time nor why Zamburo was not on the bench. Plus again like others what has happended to Omurs play, last season he was number one or 2 almost every game in the MOTM stakes; its mistifying.

You would like to think we will get much better than this
So being able to grind out results is always a positive

And we always seem to try and attack even if it doesnt come off

Can only applaud those who traveled down there to watch that today.

    Full time analysis:

Pretty poor overall. We made Plymouth look good, they aren’t.

We succeeded finally in our playing out from the back in the 82nd minute and their commentator says “Hull have improved at playing out as the game’s gone on” - well we couldn’t have got any worse!!

I can honestly say I thought nobody had a good, solid game overall for us. Coyle was good for his goal and after that, but he was having a mare before then, along with the rest of the defence! Jones did alright with the defending side of things I guess. But none of them are comfortable with this playing out system (a system that once again showed it gives the opposition more chances).

I guess I should find some positives:

Burstow looked decent in the few times he got near the ball.

Pandur stopped it being a loss (but then did gift them a few chances by passing it straight to them).

Nothing came off for Omur, Mehlem and Millar today, and we still got a point. I guess that’s something.

Anyway, if we beat Millwall, things are looking ok again. If Tim Walter thinks we played well (or anyone else for that matter), I’d suggest to watch it again.

Oh, another positive actually, this performance might force the brain team to let TW sign more players.

Should be interesting game at home to Millwall next Saturday lunchtime, they have scored 5 but conceded 7 in their two leagues but beat Pompey in the cup. Walter's got another week to work with the players on the Walterball strategy and hopefully integrate the new signings into the starting line-up.

I think Tim is frustated that the players are falling back into the Roseyball style of play to easily, rather than be more forward thinking. Omur seems to be struggling to have an impact in games.

I hope Time is frustrated! He needs to be. I worry that he thinks we’re doing ok with it.

Omur just needs to be central. It’s like Delap wasted on the wing all over again! Omur is even less effective out wide IMO.

He doesn’t. Coyle has seen off every challenger to his position ever since he arrived at the club. Quality captain, quality player.

I don't think Tim knows were Omur's best position is yet in his strategy, once we get the midfield sorted - which won't feature Slater or Seri in the starting line up, then Omur needs to be in the no 10 position, in advance of the midfield and close to the central striker.
