    Newcastle played better after they went down to 10 men.

    GK should've absolutely been the number one priority this summer, it's already cost us a goal.

    Apart from Macca we have been pretty comfortable with the ball at the back.

    If Russ absolutely insists on this madness of playing out from the back and inviting them on to us, and SR can't be arsed getting us a new GK, surely we just need to teach Tall Paul how to catch and use him instead?

    If I was a Newcastle fan I would be angry at Schar. ****housing is part of the game from Sunday League up, and he did butt him. You don't have to do that. Turn and walk away.

    As if Joelinton or Guimaraes wouldn't have been rolling around! :D

    Early days, but both our new starters have been excellent.

    We’re well in this, and were so even before the red (which was a red, regardless of what the comms are whinging about. Yes, he made the most of it, but welcome to football ffs!)

    Sad how precitable that goal was to concede.

    How we're still starting another PL season with McCarthy as no1 is going to cost us, and if we don't invest in a keeper sharpish, we may as well start planning for the championship already.

    Clearly obvious who was at fault for the goal but I’m not sure Ramsdale is the answer the majority seem to think he is.

    He was dropped by Arsenal for Raya mainly because of his distribution.

    Granted he’s a better option overall and would improve us but I would expect to see him drop a similar clanger to what we’ve seen today at some point this season..

    We need a GK that is good with his feet AND is a decent shotstopper, we haven't got one of those that is both at the club right now.
    It's frustrating because everyone can see it.

    Yeah this should just emphasise it really, we are well in the game under no danger and then one misplaced pass and we concede. Similar to last season but against top quality players so we won’t get away with it as often
