Mrs Chief's birthday today, the eldest got his A levels and accepted to Cardiff Uni yesterday, so a few drinks/food tonight and then out tomorrow evening as well. Instead of going actual out tonight, Mrs has accepted an invite to her parents. Who do not have Sky ffs! Will be sloping off up the road about eight pm this evening.
Bought some of these in Santander, a Spanish brew. Very nice. Got a slab of Mahou red and one of Mahou green also.
Just back from a surf, good fun down there today. Some old dear died on the beach last night Saw a load of blue lights from the water, two ambulances, coastguard and police. When I got out, I could see they'd put a screen around her. I saw a Paramedic walking away slowly with a defib and nobody seemed to be doing anything quickly, which made me think somebody was brown bread. Turned out she was a local, elderly lady, she'd been for a swim, sat on the beach with a glass of wine, watched the sunset and then drifted off into the ether. Not a bad way to go I suppose. When your time's up, it's up. I'd rather that than fading away in a hospital for weeks on end.
