Be nice if someone is in touch with Tees could check in with him and make sure he’s ok.
Never met the lad but this community we have all built should look after each other regardless of disagreements. Some lovely people on here and maybe he needs an arm around the shoulder. Sorry for using this thread for this but it’s played on my mind

Afternoon to you all from a humid Spain, I struggle with people at times and don't understand the 'Banter' when it's quite clearly bullying, but I'm old and realise that my era has long gone.

    Have a fantastic day everyone.

(Yes, it's an Italian shirt, but look at the crest on the glass)

Been on the red and white journey since the mid 50's but my last game was nearly 20 years ago, so the various forums have provided me with a welcome substitute fix. I met some of the old 606 folk at a 606 Xmas party at Roker Park, Syd, Canary Dave, Mr RAW plus a few others and not a disappointment amongst them, they were such a good bunch it was more like a family reunion. In those days I was simply Argus and Smug was in Antibes!
I really enjoy the mix of banter and differing opinions and it's interesting to read the post match comments because I often wonder if some of them have been to the same game that I see on TV?
Because I've never met folks on here, I often try to paint a picture of folks from their postings and I wonder how accurate my assessment is?
I wonder if I'll ever find out?

A few years back I started a post on here where posters could post a picture of themselves. If anyone could find it, I’ll happily put an updated one on of me and Mrs K to start it off again.

Stand by. I’m off for a shower and shave. Once I’m a bit cleaner I’ll try and find it unless someone else finds it in the meantime.

I'm hoping the police aren't watching, except you of course.

This is me on the Edinburgh train after our last home game ...

... my train pulled into Newcastle just as I'd been served a pint so I walked on with it.

A very attractive American woman thought it was so funny she took my photo, it wasn't but it seemed to make her day.

I went along with it and held the glass up for her, to be fair she did have a lovely arse.

By coincidence I have it in my hand now ...

... the glass that is, not her arse <cheers>

First came on here 2019..Really enjoy the craic . It's usually all pretty amicable apart from the odd ott argument that gets out of hand. I've met a few off here at various away games and have always enjoyed their company.

Joined in rtg exodus in 2019. Doesn't seem that long ago, where does the time go

Left for a bit due to issues, a recent health scare has made me evaluate things and I'm not ashamed to admit there was more negative than positive.

It's a long road I am on and the downs have been and will be deep, for that I apologise to my fellow posters for actions past, present and future. Life is hard, reality even harder
    ..

    It's been a long day

I haven't been on here long. I used to browse and form opinions of posters, some of which were a bit emotional and childish. As you can tell, humble brag, I'm young compared to the many on here.

It's nice to interact and feel people, you don't always get it over messages but it's better than reading from the outside. Anyway, it's a bit more pleasant on here.

Joined a couple years ago after @Jarca told me about it. He always said it was a pretty good place to discuss all things Sunderland - plus other random topics!!

I've enjoyed it since being on, had some good arguments n discussions with quite a few over the years. I dont agree with some posters comments, but I found most of them are respectful when we are 'arguing' our points.

Only got a couple on ignore, mostly ones who only come on to be negative - i dont mind people who are more negative than positive but its when its constant negativity that annoys me, especially when those people disappear when things go well

I have to also say since joining I've learnt to take a step back more and consider the points others are saying about players/tactics etc - this is actually helping me with my scouting, so cheers fellas!!

Some of the football knowledge on here really is 2nd to none, i find posts from the likes of @FellTop and @SourPatch2 really insightful!!

Hopefully in the next 2 yrs we will be discussing how we are looking for a season back in the PL - n surely we would have signed a striker by then!!!

Contrary to some beliefs I don't have a problem with negative comments. What's annoying is when someone just gets into a rut with it and can't seem to bear posting anything positive or even moan with a bit of humour. It doesn't matter who's attacking SAFC, if I think it's unjust or exaggerated I'll tend to defend it.

Fortunately people on here are generally reasonable and, over the last few months, seem to be relaxing about the club.

We're a long way from perfect but way ahead of some of the dark and dismal times we've endured imo.
