So, it's finally here, the first game of the new season and our adventure in the Premier league, can't bloody wait!! Yes we will probably take a few thrashings but I think we will be ok, I honestly think we will survive.

Liverpool at home, first game of the season, great, can't wait!! I'm optimistic, I'm going for a 2-2 draw, a bouncing Portman road will give the boys the lift that's needed, Omari and Leif score for us.

To those of you that are going, make some noise for the boys and enjoy your day!!

A huge day in the history of our Club, what an opener!
Agree with Spanish, get off to a flying pacey start, get the 1st goal and anything can happen.

2-2 and a Q for you all who like me sadly wont be going to Suffolk, is TNT sports or NowTV the best livestream option, now I cant cuddle up to
Arnie and co in Amsterdam on vpn?!

Heart agrees with you all so far about a 2-2 draw but I'm afraid my head says 1-2 defeat which is my prediction for the 'league'.

Men against boys we will get a good humping 4-0 I reckon. Welcome to the premier league!

I’d be impressed if we get anything from this match. Arguably the best time to play Liverpool though - lots of their players had a prolonged break due to international commitments, new manager in charge with big shoes to fill, and we are at home!

I think there will be goals in this, but I’m predicting a 3-2 Liverpool win.

This match will be on TNT Sports, so that’s the only legal way to watch this match. Unfortunately, I don’t think they do day passes unlike Now TV.

I’d argue Sky/Now TV is the better legal option, as they show around three Premier League games every gameweek, whereas TNT typically only show one a week. Sky also has more sport options (EFL football, tennis, F1, NFL, golf - if any of those floats your boat). TNT has rugby union I think, European football (Serie A, Bundesliga, a few others - might’ve changed since I last had it though) and the UEFA club competitions - Champions League etc.

Sky/Now TV has better value for money, in my opinion. I’ve got it, but not TNT. Didn’t manage to get a ticket for Liverpool (but did manage one for Fulham!), so I’ll be watching Saturday’s game in the pub with a few mates.

I genuinely had a nightmare last night that the stadium wasn't ready, the game was called off altogether at 12:50 and Liverpool were awarded a 3-0 win.

In reality, we will catch them unaware and run out victorious 15-0. COYB.

I wouldnt be at all surprised SD. What a special day its gonna be. Hard to guess what team KM will send out, but I am sure he will want to give those 7, 8 even 9 players who have been on this amazing journey since L1 ffs, the chance to savour their 1st game in rhe Prem against one of the top teams in the world, in front of a packed PR.

They deserve it. Then bring on the new big guns to blow them away. Whatever the result, it will take at least a month to get them all to gel and play KMs style.

    6 hrs to go!

I believe you can buy a day pass for TNT through NowTV if you’re “in Ireland” ;)

I think we've had a good summer and made some good news additions - particularly this week - but can only see this being a very rough landing. Dont think we'll be embarrassed but I'm predicting a 2-1 defeat.

If we get any points from the first two games I'll be amazed.

Don't think we'll be embarrassed, we'll give account of ourselves, but ultimately think we'll lose 2-0....hopeI'm wrong obviously
