    If the game is gone, with 10 minutes left on the clock, I would like (if they are on the bench) Sam Amo and Tyler Dibling to get a few minutes, if only for the manager to show that he trusts them and to see if they can produce a little sparkle to build on.

    I think they deserve to come on anyway. If preseason is about showing what you can do, they both excelled.

    Just managed to snag some old programmes from a market trader in Durham.

    One from a league match two weeks before the '76 cup final, which includes ads for travel and cup final memorabilia, and one from the 60s with Ron Davies on the cover and with manager notes from Ted Bates.

    Also managed to find an old 'Bournenouth and Boscombe athletic' one which is pretty cool.

    That sorta **** like porn for me. Tempted to go back tomorrow instead of going to the match tbh.

    I will always hope for the best especially before the season has even started but I honestly think we can be a surprise and stay up IF we can get a quality GK in.
    I believe that the team can score enough goals and it's all about keeping them out.

    And if (when) we do considerably better than Sutton's prediction, it will be down to Newcastle having an off day, or decisions going against them.

    It can be sometimes be good to play one of the more fancied teams first. Occasionally they haven't "warmed up" and you can get a draw or a win that you might not get later on in the season. I'd love us to win four nil and be top of the table, even if only for a game. My head says a respectable loss of three nil against us though.
