So new rumour is Leeds are trying to get James Milner on loan as part of the Rutter deal.
3 things putting doubt with it,
1) wages
2) he wants the all time PL appearances record
3) signed new contract in the summer.

So probably bollocks

 

Would be a good signing and a great captain but what position does he even play these days? LB?

 

No idea tbh, last time I watched him which was a while ago, he was pulling the strings in Liverpool's midfield

 

Milner would be a huge mistake. Championship is 46 games, 3 games a week. Milner can't cope with that workload.

 

Agree but on the other hand he'd be good to have around the club with the experience we need, plays 3 positions. But that's OK on £10k per week not the £60k he's on.

 

Milner, too old for what we need, left years ago, another Leeds fan obsession with resigning ex-players, move on.

 

Seems like Leeds are taking a battering after Rutter business, so are scrabbling around trying to get a replacement for Rutter. Lots of talk about Jusef Ariba coming in from Hammerby in Sweden. Seriously if this is Rutters replacement we all need to expect staying in this league for a long time. He’s young a No9 and hardly prolific and Transfermkt have him valued at £3m but apparently his club want £11m. He may well be a great prospect but no evidence as even YouTube have nothing on him. He has a contract to 2026 and was renewed in December. We already have a prospect the same age in Joseph
