Ok…moments of brilliance. Is that better? Thinking of his Sheff Wed and QPR goals, his cool lob (can’t remember who against). He had moments during games that showed his level of talent but not displayed over a stretch of games.
Players like Burstow, Jarvis etc would really benefit from not being first choice this season but are promising youngsters in terms of coming off the bench to make an impact. Both very quick so it makes sense having them in the squad but not as first choice. Think Burstow will end up being a snip, he has a lot to like, fortunately Sunderland got the brunt of his adapting season
Even if he;s not.....even if he's Philogene mk2, puts our business into perspective, yeah we may have only made a profit of 8.5m or so, but compared to spending 4m plus on a loan.....wowsers
I reckon Charles will go for a lot of money in a couple years good signing. Burstow welcome to the club. Also I couldn’t give a **** what Sunderland supporters think of him that club has such delusions of grandeur it’s unreal.
What is with people who post **** get pulled up on it or have the piss taken take such offence. People are so soft nowadays so desperate for likes.
Starting to look a little more healthy, though we're still short of attacking options... Players In: Mason Burstow - Chelsea - (undisclosed fee) - Four year deal + 12-month option Charlie Hughes - Wigan Athletic - (undisclosed fee) - Four year deal + 12-month option Liam Millar - FC Basel (undisclosed fee) Finley Burns - Manchester City - Season Long Loan Anthony Racioppi's - Young Boys (undisclosed fee) Three year deal + 12-month option. Marvin Mehlem - SV Darmstadt (undisclosed fee) Cody Drameh - Leeds United (undisclosed fee) Three-year deal with 12-month option Ryan Giles - Luton Town (option triggered - £4m possibly) Óscar Estupiñán - Recalled from loan at Bahia
One thing with Zambrano... its a loan... do we have an option to buy and if he rips up the division, are we in a position to stop some PL team stealing him...?
