Didn't Thorup say that it wouldn't be fair on U21 players looking to make a case for themselves, to have Rowe (or any first team squad member who happens to be available) taking up a team place? Obviously, there will be occasions when the primary need is to give a senior player minutes, but yesterday wasn't one of them.
