His warm up routine needs work though. He will never get a game if he can't polish up that. He also needs to eat more pies according to Bruce and bulk up (what the **** for is beyond me mind). The fact he is the best natural finisher at the club is irrelevant to our glorious leader.
Just saw this as well - If he doesn't get a game this weekend then Bruce needs to look at himself very severely (even moreso than already) - He got 3 against the mags and 3 again last night - FFS - what does he need to do to get a game!!
Can't understand why Noble was just on the bench yesterday - unless the idea is there for him to play at the weekend!!
This kid has only played three reserve game in the last year due to a persistant back problen which they are not sure of the cause and may return..irrespective of the goals he scores in the reserves ..which i may add is phenomonal..would you start him on sunday in a high intensity match against wolves...... if the answer is yes then i feel you do not have the players long term interest at heart.....with this decision i am with bruce give him 20 mins at the end of the game and see how he holds up...i woul however play maclean on the wing.now he is big enough and looks fit for purpose....ps are there anyfans on here who are hoping for a massacre a sunday just to get rid of bruce?
But what happens if we beat wolves three one and then beat blackburn by 4 ........im sure the board may consider black for the job and that must be a nightmare senario ......... i hope hughes gets the job...not nice to watch but he gets the job done..heres hoping.
