I heard a description of the film the other day "Torrid tale of how a drug addict takes advantage of a man with learning difficulties for over 30 years"
Watched a few on the plane over and back. The Iron Claw - absolutely superb but heartbreaking. MI: Dead Reckoning - just good old fashioned daft fun. Godzilla Minus One - the best Godzilla film I've ever seen (watch it with subtitles for extra poser credit).
Try this website. I’ve had it on my favourites for years now. I’ve checked that the film is on there. https://www.lookmovie2.to/
Seems to just be on Sky in the UK, maybe available on other services if you're willing to pay which I personally am not. Pay enough bloody money for streaming services as it is. If you like the trailer you're pretty much guaranteed to like the film, it's exactly as presented. Never gets boring, great sense of humour.
Cheers mate, will give it a look through. Was over your way a few weeks ago after the Tornado in Bunbury
Ah…we were affected by it as well. Had a roof leak which damaged the floor and ceiling. Insurance claim went in the same night. Never claimed on insurance in the 31 years we’ve had a house. Whole new experience for us.
Watched Jaws the other night, first time I've watched it since I was a kid. Robert Shaw as the grizzled New England sailor is fantastic.
Is there a genuine shout that Al Pacinos best ever performance wasn't the stoic Michael in Godfather, but Lefty in Donnie Brisco?
The story he told while they sat around drinking is still fantastic to this day. The 3 of them were half cut and the other 2 didn't know what he was going to say (didn't know the scrip), you can see they're genuinely gripped.
Watched a 70's film last week called "Death Wish", made long before i was born but some of the older fellas might know it, a film about vigilantism, really really fücking good, I wish they made films like that today.
Absolutely brilliant in The great Escape and The Magnificent Seven. I'm a bit biased as TMS is my favourite ever film.
