Celer looked secluded upfront and we made crucial mistakes at the back. I fear unless something changes, could be more of the same on Saturday. Sheffield United kicked off the Championship season a day earlier than us, with a 0-2 win away at Preston on Friday night. After relegation last season, their squad looks decent, but lacking in fire power after the departures of Cameron Archer (Villa), William Osula (Newcastle) and Bénie Traoré (FC Basel). Team news and manager comments to be added later, enjoy if you are making the trip, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
With our last 2 defensive displays, this could get very messy. Try and keep things tight and not get walloped. The next gane against Plymouth could well be a must win even being so early in the season just for confidence
Early start for the hordes from Brighton & Hove. You have to be a seriously lazy bastard to need the bus from the station though. It’s a 15 minute walk.
Richard Edghill @daverangers Leon Clarke Andrew Davies Marcus Bent A rich variety of **** noughties QPR heroes
Some truly horrific memories cropped up when updating with these players. How on earth did Leon Clarke score 29 in 88 for them and he could barely control the ball for us.
League One mainly I think. Watched him quite a bit in my time following Bury and he was a cut above at that level.
Our record against them is actually better than I would have guessed. A win and it’s 20-20-20. It’s going to happen. Cheers Dave.
Hopefully be watching this as we cross Bay of Biscay with a glass of something for company on route to Cadiz...... Bliss.... C'mon Rangers
Not surprised by that. It always seems to be a good and higher scoring game when we play them. Here's hoping.
Cadiz is brilliant. I had a great restaurant recommendation and can’t find the name. Will try and dig it out.
Hope we get our defensive act together. Would be very pleased with a boring 0-0 draw, and ecstatic with an ugly 0-1 win.
A bone bruise. Apparently the club should know more today. Let’s hope the news is good otherwise he will be out for a significant period of time. Of all the players…
