People are critical of signings and then once everyone is aware of their position they don't keep labouring the point as you're now doing. As I said, give it a rest. We know your stance.

Cheers for posting GLP. As an adopter, that one really got me! He certainly sounds like he deserves all of our support, especially as it might take him a while to settle. I'm feeling really positive about the lad as a signing though. UTT.

If I'm offering nothing new and slating a player that hasn't yet signed absolutely feel free to.

The great thing about having TW here, is that he 'cut his teeth' at under 17 and Under 19 level before going into management. Great for the club IMO.

Been plenty of signings that look like nothing on paper yet end up being key players.

I bet, it’s very heart warming. My Grandma used to provide emergency foster care despite having 5 Children of her own. It’s vital support and huge kudos to any parents that offer adoption. Giving Children the opportunity to flourish.

    I agree
Always had massive respect for people who foster and adopt
Knew someone who was adopted after their family was murdered in the rwandan genocide in the 90s
A lot of times kids who are fostered are almost broken due to circumstances out of their control
And the respect, attention and devotion from people who foster is honestly remarkable
    Literally does change peoples lives

Wow, people like your grandma are just incredible. It really takes a special person to offer up that kind of support.
Thanks GLP, they are doing well.

I can sort of relate to the lad i was adopted in hull different circumstances to his but know the bad side of the crap you go through to end up in the situation, that is why i really hope he smashes it and for his aunt and uncle to who cared for him more to this than just football there is a feel good factor in it for him the fans and the club hopefully.

My son and his wife have just adopted 2 girls. The process was rigorous (and rightly so) and took about 18 months. Hopefully the cases you refer to are few and far between nowadays. I am delighted to have 2 new grand daughters!
