I swear, you just try and look for reaction... for the loss of a comma, you have come to your conclusions. For your clarification, I said Mehlem as good as he is and will become better (totally the opposite of your conclusion) would not have been top of TW 'must have' list... indeed comma on the match thread comma other people have said they cannot understand why 4/5 germans haven't arrived that he knows and would suit his system. Does that clear it up for you... think why you piss people off...

    It's odd.
Same age. Similar height. Both quick.
Ohio scored 3 goals in 8 appearances in the Championship last season.
Burstow scored 1 goal in 20 appearances in the Championship last season.
Seemed like Ohio enjoyed it here and would have come back (given his tweets & comments). Maybe Burstow comes a bit cheaper but I doubt there'd be that much difference?
I can only hope we are pleasantly surprised!

Syd genuinely has no idea why he pisses people off.
But expect a reply shortly where he will make judgement on you for being odd (that you don't like splitting hairs, particularly those that have already been split into atom sizes)

In this instance, I don’t think Syd was looking for an argument. I couldn’t understand what you meant either and it seems you have overreacted a bit and took it personally.

The power of the comma is underestimated. There’s a few good examples out there. One of the best is:

I love cooking my pets and my family.

I love cooking, my pets and my family.

Hope that diffuses the situation and we can get back on track anyway. <cheers>

Mason Burstow story. Very humble with a tough upbringing.

    Good luck Mason.

I really don't, it was a very unclear post. Check the number of likes on my post, I'm not alone in thinking it. I even tried to ask in a light hearted way but you responded passive aggressively and yet it's me looking to start something.. Just consider how you would have responded if it hadn't been me posting and consider you might have read something into my post that wasn't there.

Many thanks. I really wasn't looking to start something, the post just genuinely confused me. Especially as I thought mehlem had just played well so couldn't tell if cave was praising him or not.

Did we make any attempt to sign Ohio permanently then ?

I thought we weren't interested because we thought we could do better

Thanks for sharing. That brought a tear to my eye. They should put this on club site or something (with his permission of course). All the best to the lad.

I really hope his aunt and uncle are special guests of the club when he looks like getting his first start....

Maybe at Sunderland first time away form home was a bit of a shock, lets hope he settles in quickly..

For Burstow. You never know how much a permanent move for a young lad could allow him to settle and kick on rather than being loaned out every year to a different set up. He looks to have raw ability but needs to be fine tuned and is in the "watkins" mould that Walter apparently wants. Can think of a couple moments early in the game last night where a striker with raw pace would have been useful.
