It's proper annoying me, it's their first team from the weekend.

Rigg the only player with credit. Head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch.

    Moore decent back up.

2 more weeks for squad to be improved.

Most teams in the championship are exactly the same tho

More positives than negatives for me tonight, think RLB will know theres a few here that he can trust but a lot that he cant

Pleased he rested the whole starting line up

In possession Rigg was good but lots for him to work on out of possession if he is to challenge Browne, Neil or Jobe for a start

Wrong to judge fully on a game like this, with so many changes and development players against men, but unless Ba, Rusyn and AA start making any useful difference soon they’re done here. Anderson is a goner.

Given the fact it was a clear second string, eleven changes and highly likely they’ve hardly trained yet alone played together as a full team didn’t think it was that bad first half.

second half however has been absolutely awful, don’t care about difference in experience it’s just been poor.

Anderson, Hjelde, rusyn and ba have been absolutely terrible.

Rigg was very good , thought other than second goal Moore did well and triantis seemed canny (although unsure if that is cos he was surrounded by awful performances)

    the rest of them …..meh

hasn’t told us anything we didn’t know and only one to make a claim has been Rigg ….theyd best get some decent incomings in the rest of the window as I’m not confident if we get any injuries.

With the long term injury to Seelt and Ballard still injured with mixed reports on when he may be back, I’d be keeping hold of Triantis for cover. Think he’s done ok tonight

    Me too.

I think I trust l, Triantis, Rigg, Ekwah and Mundle.

That's it. Some other more experienced players in this team should be doing much much better.

    Thoughts on a few individuals:

Pembele needs to be moved out quick if Johnson is preferred at RB, and I’d be looking at a loan for Johnson. We need a new back up for Hume.

Anderson should be sold imo with triantis kept.

Decisions need to be made on AA/Rusyn and Ba. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with rusyn being our second choice striker at the end of the window. I’d fancy poveda to be the support for Roberts over ba and mundle is clarkes competition.

I like Ekwah but he has a challenge getting ahead of Neil, Browne and even Rigg for me.

Good test coming up at the weekend.

AA and BA simply not in the game for large swathes of the match and then when they are involved very little end product. Would move on.

I'd agree with all that. Ba lacks desire and won't improve in my view and needs moving on. Johnson doesn't look good at all even though he's out of position. I thought first half Mundle looked good. You also forgot Hjelde who must be the worst signing for years.

This team would have been our u23 team last season, playing against a pretty much full strength Preston team.

    Let's not be too harsh

Easier to play with better players.

ie, our midfield looks much better with Jobe and Neil in there.

We’ve had 3 or 4 chances here where we should’ve done better. Been poor, but still easily could’ve got this to penalties

Moore as well, think he showed that hes a quality back up to Patterson

Ba def been better on the left, the issue i have with Ba (and i like him) is that i dont ever think he will change a game for us. I like him against good attackinv fullbacks as he will track them n can help nullify them but never think he will change a game in our favour
