If he took more care on the ball he'd probably be a good player, instead he does things like pick the ball up on the halfway line with 20 yards to drive into but he'll try and play a ridiculous pass that De Bruyne would struggle with.

Very pleased with that half. Scoreline irrelevant.

Misread his message tbh. Thought he was talking about who he’d feel comfortable stepping in

Moore could’ve done better for the goal but has done alright otherwise

Slightly unlucky to be behind but sometimes we are extremely vulnerable st the back especially down the left hand side

Aye, unlucky to be behind but we've played well.

Ba really needs to learn to compose himself better mind.

Think I’m right in saying he recommended Postecoglou to us before he went to Celtic. But the hierarchy at the time wanted someone with English football experience

Moore looks good, defence understandably looks shaky. Front 5 look dangerous without that cutting edge.

All 8 winning on my coupon on SkyBet and the ‘my bets’ segment is ****ed and can’t see if worth a cash out.

I think games like this are so valuable to AA. He needs wisdom but he could certainly get there. If we can give him minutes to learn in real games and somehow reassure him that he’ll continue to get chances, we could end up reaping the rewards. It’ll be tough to engineer the right type of minutes at the right volume, but it’s worth a shot imo.

Not bad at all considering. Couple of players standing out and a couple not doing great. Be interesting to see what Le Bris does at half time, what effect he has.

Decent half, got a bit scrappy for us after they scored

Anderson the only player that looks totally out his depth

Agree with others that i want to see more from Adil, did a couple nice things in the half but just not involved consistently. Rusyns movement hasnt been great, runs about but think hes struggling to show for the ball

Ba does some great things off the ball - both in n out of possession but on the ball his decision making been poor

Thought ekwah has played well at the base of CM, Rigg looking good n showed a couple of moments of real quality. Mundle looks a danger, he is getting doubled marked tho as Anderson is offering nothing

Don't think Hjelde has been bad at all, probably just an alright performance rather than one that has him staking a claim for the 1st team

Johnson not looking out of place at all

Moore been very good as has Triantis

Unlucky to be behind, but some of these are just not up to it.

Honestly that was pretty good. Some individuals are really playing their way into being squad mainstays this season. Impressed by Mundle, Triantis, Johnson, Rigg and Ekwah. Moore doing decent in goal as well.

Rusyn is bad, in this system in particular. They have 3 6ft+ defenders and Rusyn isn't even bothering them. Touch is bordering on horrific as well.

Anderson is a league one footballer. No shame in that, just need better.

Aouchiche and Ba are in a similar category for me. I see flashes of brilliance and then the next minute they misplace a 5 yard pass. So frustrating.

We've got four CBs out there and yet we can't defend a ball coming into the box. Not one of them is good enough. For their goal Hjelde had to come out to the attacker but backed off into a congested area. Him and Anderson in particular aren't good enough. Going forward we are good though. Mundle is the pick of the players but also Rigg, Auochiche and Rusyn are doing well. Regardless of Ba's miss he has been half hearted yet again. He has ability but surrenders possession far too easily. He played over 70 games for us and mist of them have been 6/10 at best. He simply isn't going to be good enough. Overall though our performance has been quite encouraging.

Been impressed with that half, should have taken the lead way before they scored.

Promising signs from most of the players, Anderson struggling a bit though.

Nice to see us looking to break at speed though

canny good that half, few little 'lapses/mistakes' but the lads passed it around decent.

ba has two modes, 'wonderful movement with the ball' to 'what the fecks he deein now???'...for a '2nd team' they controlled most of the 1st half, let's see what RLB can do to change it.

    Ba I’m not convinced
He needs to step up but he’s not
He misses to many good chances and people were wanting him in in place of roberts
Even though roberts is not firing there is no place for ba
