I don't know much about either, had a quick look and Plymouth didn't seem to rate Devine. Hopefully better around better players
They’re rumoured to be desperate for him back so they must’ve seen something still the recruitment team, he’s done very well in spurs pre season.
The midfield balance does interest me, I'd say Omur is the only nailed on starter. Zambrano/Simons Omur/Devine. Mehlem/Slater Probably my best guess, but looks a bit lightweight
It makes no more sense than going for top level loans in January in a season we were no chance of promotion. It was fun and maybe that's all Acun cares about?
A very slim one then. A much, much slimmer one than we would have this season with a well constructed squad.
Agree we now look sorted at RB (so long as Drameh's only short term injured) and at keeper .... but ... do you honestly think wer'e sorted in midfield? I think we're relatively weak there atm. Not disastrously, as in relegation weak, but nowhere near strong enough for a serious go at it. Maybe Zambrano will change things, but it's a big ask and we need more than him adding in there.
Zambrano with another holding midfielder to come. Simons/Slater/Mehlem/Omur fighting for the 2 more advanced spots is pretty good depth a quality. Compared to other spots it’s healthy
"Leeds United have made a £15m offer to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, according to journalist Alan Nixon." Dunno it this is a reliable source, but seems unlikely he'll be coming here with all the figures being bandied about.
Best thing is to just wait and see who we get in and see how it goes before we make assumptions how **** or good we are.
I thought Mehlem was, well, a bit Meh. Did not doing anything wrong but did not seem to contribute a lot. A bit like Omur which was unsual for him he usually makes things happen.
