    Good evening @TC (Lovely Geezer)

Just catching up on Bomber Harris’ post match comments after your home defeat today.

“We defended like an Under 12 team” said the soon to be sacked Spanner’s Chief.

In other news, defender Alex Mitchell was outstanding for us in our win at Wigan.

He reminds me of a cross between Bobby Moore and Virgil van Djik - I am amazed that he was only your “7th best defender “, but thanks anyway <cheers>

We hit the woodwork 3 times, had 3 cleared off the line and should have had a penalty.
We were the better team despite missing some key players.

No panick just yet- the Championship is a long hard season and I'm sure we will be in the mix.

Congratulations on Charltons overwhelming victory at league giants Wigan btw - I'm sure you played them off the park and HMS pisstheleague has begun <cheers>

Harris (sounding under pressure already) quote:

“Their first goal you wouldn’t expect to see an Under 12 team concede it”.

For those who missed it, Watford scored direct from a corner with the Millwall keeper flapping at thin air
    <cheers>

According to the BBC report you hit the post twice not three times. Isn’t hitting the post bad finishing? Clearing the ball off the line is good play by the defending team. When you say you will be in the mix is that the relegation mix?

He did make a howler, but he can be excused - he had just been part of the tributes to Matty Sarkic (Watfords fans were exeptional btw :emoticon-0137-clapp) and had to play in front of the family.

What Harris actually said is here : https://southwarknews.co.uk/sport/f...is-distinctly-unimpressed-by-watfords-opener/

I have seen the tribute to Matty Sarkic and it was very well observed. So are you saying that the reason he made a howler was because he had been part of a tribute to Sarkic and he had to play in front of the Family.
A good goalkeeper should be able to shut out other things happening.

Yes it is bad finishing - I'm sure this will sort itself out once Langstaff and Flemming are fully fit.
I think we will finish closer to top 6 than bottom 6.

I said he can be excused - the whole team didn't play very well in the first 25 minutes, but after that we were by far the better team - if it happens again in the next few games I might be more worried.

You’ve got more porkies than Dewhurst the Master Butcher.

Look at Millwall’s own Twitter feed - full of comments saying ‘Arris hasn’t been backed this Summer.

And yet you have constantly assured us that you are bidding for Spurs players etc <laugh>

    Personally speaking, I believed you.

After all, Millwall has no track record of spending fvck all, and busking for survival every season in a league they don’t belong in <cheers>

If Japhpet Tanganga is a Spurs player, that makes @ElfsborgAddick a winner of Love Island.

27 appearances, almost all as a sub in the Cups, in 5 years at Spurs.

    Released on a free transfer.

    Nice try <laugh>

A free transfer only because he was released - they wanted £2M + add-ons before that - excellent work by Gallen don't you think??

No I don’t. Neither do a lot of Millwall fans judging by some of the comments. I have watched some of the Millwall match and Cooper and Hutchinson are slower than me and I am seventy. They also have the turning circle of the QE2
