Grayson, Coleman, Ndong…..don’t mention them names or I will have to go back to therapy…lol….that’s why I can’t understand anyone bitching and moaning about our current set up. We are light years ahead of those times :)

I just don't get it mate.

Surely it's clear to see that each brick of the building is being changed or redressed.

It's painstaking work and undertaken while matches are being played.

It's not like taking on a normal business whereby you can close it down, refurbish, take on new staff and have a big opening day.

And, not only that, you have 40,000 customers constantly demanding you improve the service and the product.

    KLD must be crackers <laugh>

Great post mate and sums everything up very nicely :)
The people we are bringing in the club like Bruce clearly have their sh*t together.
I’m of the firm belief that KLD in time is going to make us a huge club to compete at the very top level. He’s a very young lad but with a great head on his shoulders.
I wouldn’t be surprised as part of his vision for the future is to go to Sid James Park and win 4 - 0 and invite all on the pitch with him for selfies. He who laughs last…laughs the loudest :)

Have concluded that today’s performance must have been a TEAM performance as so many pundits et al can’t make their minds up who was man of the match and really such differences in points awarded . These are the most satisfying wins where we aren’t totally reliant on the same players but a TEAM effort .

Well almost home after an eventful weekend following the lads. Trains all over the place but still managed to get to the game albeit very tired. Good performance from the lads against a very poor Cardiff in my opinion. I thought we controlled the game for long periods and can't remember Patterson having to much to do. Some good performances Cirkin browne onion jobe all playing well amongst others. Cracking goal from Clarke. Really enjoyed the game and a with a couple of additions I think we can be a force this season. Anyway almost home a nice bath and a large malt is the order of the evening. Keep the faith lads and lasses. :1980_boogie_down::emoticon-0148-yes:

This isn't me being contentious, just asking a few harmless questions.

Did Le Bris look like his inexperience of the Championship mattered to him.

Would an assistant have helped him approach the game any better.

Did anyone see Dodds whispering in his ear telling him what to do at any point during the game.

Would he have picked a different team without Speakman being there.

Would anyone drop Bellingham or believe he's contracted to start every game.

Maja, "when the opportunity to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues came up, I couldn’t turn that down."

Besides, that was Donald, the club has totally changed.

Enjoyed that, Cirkin just adds so much to this team, what a player. Hope he can stay fit this season. Thought jobe was quality, hard to believe he’s only 18 mind. Can’t wait to see how him and rigg develop over the season. Now go and sign a couple strikers and add bit more depth, no excuses now please.

    You are being contentious, TBF.

    1. Flow of the game was intersting. Cardiff had lots of that game. And even RLB said he wasn't happy with it.

    2. Maybe the subs. I think Mayenda should have been hooked sooner.

    3. Yes. Big chats in the ear. Won't lie, when I seen it, it annoyed me. It's just too senior for him IMO.

    4. No. But Mayenda is Speakman et Al personified.

    5. He was overplayed last season. Played well today.

    My honest answers mate.

I would describe that performance as competent.
Better than a work in progress but not yet an optimum performance.
Definitely signs of progress but still room for improvement
Feeling a bit optimistic, but just a feeling...
    ,,,at this stage

Looking forward to the rest of the season

No I'm certainly not, these are all things that have been regularly stated here and elsewhere

It's the people who made those comments who were being contentious.

I was watching to see if Dodds was involved, I didn't see it personally ...

... I'll be watching the match again tomorrow so I'll look.

Normally when someone starts with with I am not but, they are.

Anyway. I think lots of the points you raised were fine from others to raise and some of them did appear today. We have along way to go. The game today could easily have swong. Happy with the win clearly.

But I will comfortably say that Dodds being the main voice ( into the head coach) annoyed me. I want better. We need better. As we do in the 9.

    I don't care, I'm not as I explained.

All the questions I've posted have been posted dozens of times before on here and elsewhere, including this morning.

Personally I'd say the main voice in RLB's head is his own.

I'll be looking for Dodds when I watch tomorrow, I honestly barely noticed him.

We weren't at our best, we still need a striker and the team needs more time to adapt to RLB's methods.

but we won. and a clean sheet too.

    Happy days
