We are 45 minutes into the new season not got all our new players playing or the potential new ones give them at least a few games to get going.
Not a bad half, Pandur and Jacobs as well as Oscar have been good, should have scored. We look on balance the more threaten when we do get into their final third.
Definitely onus on the centre halfs to start the play and look forward. Sean Mc had spent more time in midfield than anytime last year. Thing is he's been culpable for a lot of the loss of ball. Need better ball playing CH's for this system.
Bristol aren't up to much apart from the big unit up front fir them , Oscar's had chances but keeper has pulled off a couple of good saves. Sean Maka and Matty Jacob just aren't confident playing the Walterball style, Maka isn't happy dribbling out and playing quick passes with the midfielders.
Looking ok going forward at times but it's captain chaos at the back, all of them guilty of trying to play out and gifting the ball to Brizzle, numerous times, fraid Mclaughlin and Jacob look very limited technically at the minute.
I’d be hooking Jacob at half time, they’ve absolutely done him over and over. His confidence looks knackered.
Macca has been worse, the pair of them are so slow and they're easy to get behind. Jacob's done well, well better than most of pre season. He's never going to be technically good
Been lucky a few times, pretty open but Pandur has done well. Giles some good delivery and Oscar unlucky with his shot. Midfield linking up reasonably well. Good energy levels.
Pandour showing he's a decent keeper, Oscar showing what we missed last season ( great save by their GK ), Omar needs the ball more.... Overall a really decent 45min imo
