Morning all. Well I've just had some news that puts all of this nonsense into persepective, so I'll start the day with an open apology to @Judge GG. Apologies GG. A genuine attempt at humour. But based on the ensuing conversation it was clearly an epic fail. I know they say communication failure is about "impact not intent". I'm sorry. Apologies. While I again used (my version of) humour, by this time in the discussion I admit it was written with an element of a personal dig. My bad. I'm sorry. Apologies. I do think we may need to agree to disagree on this one. Adding "currently" when you've just dissed his goals/assists and then said he "currently" looks like a flop doesn't excuse the sentiment. The litmus test would be if you ask Osula whether he thinks you are writing him off with those comments. Personally my money would be on "yes". You might think otherwise. However, I see my comments may have overstepped, so apologies. I will refrain from the use of flip-flop and pathetic in the future. I'm now going to have a few days off forum as too much going on in the real world.
What we could all do without though, is these constant attempts to stir **** and incite aggro between the mythical 'cult' and others at every opportunity. It's frankly a bit boring and unnecessary.
Then stop chasing people around for what you perceive as negative. . Accept their opinions and move on. We should have been upgrading Pope imo, but we’ll see. it’s still, regardless of PSR, a bit of a shambles. Bearing in mind how Chelsea do player trading and we had good offers for Almiron, Wilson and Trippier in Jan - now we’re going to see our cluster of utter mediocre players kick off yet again. I mean for all we’ve made stellar progress anyone telling me they genuinely thought Murphy would be first choice RW following a season in the UCL is a goddam liar!!! Scouting/transfers at this club are ****ing abysmal for the past 18 months. Mitchell needs to sort something out and fast.
I can see the negativity but i think we'll move on a bit from last season. Our young fullbacks are a year older and more experienced. Joelinton, Willock and followed by Tonali will be available, and Barnes will imo show us his worth. If we've better luck with keeping people fit, we'll be up there challenging.
