What I was alluding to the other day when I said things that people write on the internet don’t bother me because I’ve grown up around it lol. Older folk don’t know how bad trolling can be on places like 4chan, discord, even XBL back in the day.. if you lose your head or get upset over some nasty words on social media you’ve got no chance.

Personally I’ll never say something online to someone who’s face I wouldn’t say it to, but if you think you’re going to win against an anonymous keyboard warrior who can find out where you live in seconds, find out who your family are etc all through the internet then good luck :emoticon-0102-bigsm pick your battles and all that.

You were confidentially claiming the police would be defeated, two days ago, and were totally wrong ...

... do you have the capacity to understand how wrong you were?

"I think the police are going to get defeated in all cities for as long as this goes on, the more arrests and brutality, the more numbers will come out. You're not running out of disaffected working class White men anytime soon."

Since you said that all the disaffected working class White men have run out ...

    ... or run away.

Which translates as, "Shyte, I've totally embarrassed myself, been proved totally wrong and don't have an answer."

I've seen it all before mate.

People like you lose an argument so claim the other person is seething/drunk/senile/rattled/etc.

Your prediction was complete nonsense ...

... my prediction was absolutely correct.

I might treat meself to a nice glass of Chablis .... Pinot Grigio ffs <doh>

Terrible start by Labour and Keir Starmer, it must be said.

First of all they come for the pensioners and then the working man and woman. We have the disaster of a social media post from Jess Phillips claiming the Asian men were only out (with knives, bats and swords) because they felt threatened, instead of calling that behaviour out as unacceptable, she justified it. Starmer made a couple of horrendous statements in his interviews and was pouring petrol on the fire. Now we have Labour councillors inciting murder. It’s a mess.

I don’t buy the argument he’s only been in charge for 30 odd days and he needs a full term. Liz Truss didn’t even last two month because she was shown to be incapable and nobody argued against that. I don’t see why it should be any different for Starmer. He’s shown his weakness and lack of divisiveness when the country needs strong leadership.

I'm still laughing at this and wondering which books they went for.

    My three guesses are,

    Crime and Punishment

    The Lord of the Bongs

    Fifty Shades of Benefits

They were voted in by the people and you have to accept that's our current democracy like it or not ...

... just like Brexit, you've absolutely no choice but to accept it.

You'll get a chance to vote them out in a few years, just wait there.

FFS, there's some brutal sentences being handed down if this is correct.

An old mate in Yarm has just said a 17 year old, from Hartlepool, has been given 2 years for throwing a beer bottle at the police. If that's true his life is virtually done before it's started, a massive cloud hanging over him and for what?

To be fair my mate also said Starmer is authorising a new prison to be built in Clacton so it could all be bollix <laugh>

Whoever said these people would just get a slap on the wrist were totally wrong, by a long way.

Some of these jail terms are really severe.

This bloke is older than me and won't be released until he's in his seventies ...

... nearly three years for throwing a bottle <whistle>

    William Nelson Morgan
    69 years old

Convicted of: • Violent disorder • Possession of a weapon

Sentenced to: Two years and eight months in prison
