Whilst always looking forward to the season the striker situation is becoming an irritant to be honest. We could be so close yet so far if this is not addressed
Fair play.....but there's not much ever coming from inside these days, which is not how it was in the past. It doesn't bother me,I assume they're getting on with it,but there are those among us who get spooked when they don't hear anything, and, for some obscure reason, seem to assume that means bad news.
Two players wages off the books for the next season, good news. Wish them both well and think they will have great seasons if they stay fit. Can see Bennette being next…
Would be great if it were a new contract. Players knowing we reward good performance, way before contract ends, will take notice of us.
Lad needs minutes, he's clearly got something about him considering where he's came from but his injury has definitely knocked him and the only way to get him back to his previous level is game time which he won't get here. Loan him out and see what the situation is next summer.
Looks like exits are this week/early next week then then the real fun can start and we sign 2 strikers
He's looked awful in pre-season. His confidence seems very low as I can't imagine he's as bad as he's looked in recent games. A loan is needed.
Who plays RB if Hume gets injured? We have Hume, O'Nien, Alese, Cirkin and Johnson as available defenders, with Ballard and Triantis to come back soon. Seelt and Huggins in the NY. I wouldn't say we are awash with defenders to be loaning people out
I would probably be more comfortable with any of them as the right back on Saturday than I would be if Pembele was starting.
