A Pandur or Tony the Tiger, got to be a Tiger hasn't it?

 

Everyone has just worn last year's numbers during pre-season. Presumably the new ones will be announced today or tomorrow.

I'm a big squad numbers nerd. Can't explain it and I knows it's meaningless in the scheme of things but I've always loved the imagery of a star player wearing a notable number like 7 or 10. I hope Ömür does get 10.

 

Surely 'Ivor the Diver' has to start?

Hayden managed to stay fit after signing for QPR, would be an iffy one though

 

He's a better player than when he was with us last time.

Could be a useful addition but it isn't really an exciting/inspiring use of a loan spot.

Yeah, me too. I found it satisfying when Sean Dyche fielded a Burnley starting XI in a Premier League game a few years ago and the numbers were 1-11.

Looks to be a good signing, it says he is 1.88m and Pandur 1.87m, it will be interesting to see what he looks like, as Pandur looks smaller than his stated height? Alsopp was 1.89m but he looked far bigger than Pandur.
