What is happening is deliberate.

There's no budget unless someone goes. A net spend of a couple of million is the limit. The money in for Turnbull, Abada and Oh doesn't count as that's last year's dosh.

Don't expect anything to change anytime soon, because this isn't incompetence.

The main reason we won't strengthen is that they think fans will get bored skooshing the league over the huns every year.

They think the Deila years prove this, because fans stayed away.

They don't consider the fact we got a cheapskate manager and failed to back him and getting knocked out of the CL, again, had anything to do with this.

If we strengthened all the positions we need to make a dent in Europe (which all of us want) the worry for the board is we'd be so far ahead. So all of this is to handicap us.

We are being deliberately nobbled to create a false sense of competition and excitement. If that sounds absurd, I'd like to hear the more logical explanations for this inertia.

This is the last season of automatic qualification for league winners anyway, coefficient dropping like a stone and with Celtics inability to actually win games in Europe, that won’t change any time soon.
