People aren't stating the obvious, they're ignoring the obvious that signings are being worked on and will be incoming. We've been told all along that most of the business would happen later in the window. The reason Acun flew in from Turkey was to alay people's fears because rumours and bullshit started flying around and it was only escalating, he didn't come to sort the business out directly or he wouldn't be back in Turkey now. He asked people to have faith and be a bit more patient whilst admitting things hadn't been perfect but the bigger plans would start coming off over the next few weeks. We haven't lost 95% of our goalscoring threat either seeing as we brought Oscar back and we were very close to having an additional two more strikers than we have right now, but unfortunately that couldn't really be helped as they chose other options late on in the process. It happens. Seeing where we're at come the end of the window is what some of us have been saying would be best all along. My point is simply the umpteen reasons why we've seen delays in recruitment can't all just be ignored and chalked up instead to the club dropping a bollock. I agree it's not ideal that we have so few in before Saturday, but it shouldn't be a surprise with what we've been told and there have definitely been overreactions. However, the good business we've managed to do regarding outgoings should allow us to build a decent squad for this level and it looks like we're doing exactly that - it's a work in progress.

Seems a little odd the window has closed and he hasn’t sacked the manager…..that we know of. It’s short notice aswell especially when there’s nothing to talk about, unless he wants to tell us something before it gets in the public domain. Equally he could just want to share his wedding snaps
