Specifically at the break she just powered up slightly to position herself on the Ethiopian girl's shoulder and on the back straight heading home she pushed those chasing her out wide by stepping to her right half a metre. And once she hit the home straight she just opened her legs and showed her class - as Ronnie Pickering would have said. Do you know who he was?
Gold for determination anarl. Even though she's so young she's really put in the hard yards. Also consider that as a teenager she needed surgery to remove a tumour that left her unable to walk for a while and with significant permanent hearing loss. Given the **** storm the country is currently facing it's great to have some really positive news.
