My theory is we haven't had a World War for a while and people think they are dipping out. When you look around, not just in this Country but generally all over, the whole world has gone mad. Right wing extremists at every turn and the politicians are jumping on the popular bandwagon with the hope of power. I have always known that racism is rife in every corner or the world but the extreme it is going to now can only lead to one conclusion. It's a sorry situation when I have come to the conclusion I am at the right end of life and probably won't have to watch the world end itself in my lifetime. I despair for my grandchildren.

I have to say my daughter has just come up with a good peace settlement. So far, the demonstrations have been damp squibs and she’s suggested reconciliation could be achieved by both parties combining to get rid of that damn sculpture outside the Theatre Royal. I think she has a future in the UN.

Just get a big line of Police backed up by the RM contingent and drive them off the cliff and into the sea. You can see that a shed load of them have no real interest in the actual subject of the protest. They are the ones who turn up with a mask. Sky News were covering it live prior to the 10pm news. All the violence is clearly coming from the fascist lot and I have to say a relatively small number of police look to be doing a magnificent job pushing those yobs north up Armada Way and away from the Guildhall and the peaceful demonstrators on the southern side of Royal Parade. There's a drone which is no doubt taking pictures and hopefully we'll see them in court soon.
